ANDREW CALLARI

Mr. Callari graduated cum laude from Cornell Law School in 1989. His practice focuses  on civil litigation for businesses and individuals on a wide range of legal issues. Mr. Callari’s clients are not exclusively plaintiffs or defendants; instead, he represents clients seeking to enforce their rights and claims, as well as clients defending against lawsuits filed against them.

Mr. Callari began his legal career as a litigation attorney with Hughes Hubbard & Reed in New York. He later joined the litigation department of Arnold & Porter (now Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP) in Los Angeles and then Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP) in Costa Mesa. Having acquired the skills and training at national law firms, Mr. Callari formed Callari & Summers in 2004.

By taking a value-driven approach to practicing law, Mr. Callari often advises clients on pre-litigation disputes, with the goal of avoiding the time and expense of a lawsuit through settlement. Even when lawsuits are filed and pending, Mr. Callari employs a cost-effective and practical business approach in litigating the case, mindful that any pre-trial settlement produces a known outcome and reduces legal fees.

Teaching Experience:

Adjunct Professor of Law, Whittier Law School
Courses taught:  Evidence
